We are the Canucks

We are the Canucks who love our sticks and pucks, a Molson some back bacon and mudding our trucks.
We are known for our manners and for saying we're sorry but that my friends is not the end of the story.
We know what a two four is and hosers too, a Double Double and that movie Strange Brew.
Montreal Smoked meat and some poutine and bloody hell our love of hockey is crazy obscene.
The Northern Lights are wondrous sights and we can rock better than the Northern Pikes!
Saskatchewan sees the bunny hug and Newfoundlanders kiss a cod with a screech glug glug.
Beavers are noble and on coins have worth and Inuit throat singing is part of northern mirth.
Cowboys and oil are sometimes combined and SCTV has never been defined.
We rock the world with our musical gift and our comedic ability gives the world a lift.
We are more than maple syrup and leaves we are peacekeepers in lands of unease.
We are kind, gracious, and nice, a land of rugged mountains and grandiose ice.
Snowmobiles race to an ice fishing spot, and the CFL adds to summers hot.
Hockey is our religion with Don Cherry a priest in a collar and our worship a holler.
We also have a humble Ron MacLean who keeps ole Don and the nation sane.
Our national anthem is short and sweet and we are welcomed by all we meet.
Ontario has the Highway of Heroes for our fallen soldiers and with them we stand shoulder to shoulder.
We export more talent than we take in and we can humbly enjoy a win
Chris Hadfield showed we can reach the stars and we showed grace and unity in the face of SARS.
Infinite diversity in infinite combinations might be from Trek but join me for a brewski on the deck.
Anne of Green Gables, Farley Mowat, and Pierre Burton to show we are quite literary and wordsmiths too.
We are more than we appear and more than you can see, We are the Great White North from sea to shining sea.
